Yes he was actually sick but mostly with watery eyes and runny nose... I wouldn't put it past the Mexican resorts too do that, Mexico is a sketch area.... My former wife was from Mexico City and I spent a lot of time down there, always "interesting".

We really enjoyed both London and rome, and my son is going into quite the worldly person, he went clubbing with a junior high school friend in London and then the night he got out of covid jail, told me he had a date with a British girl in Rome 🤣😭😃😃

I was wondering how that went... Sorry to hear about the COVID diagnosis. Was he actually sick though? I’ve heard there’s been scams coming out of various sun resorts where they’d supply the tests and oh, look at that, you’re positive. One of our customers mentioned his friend went down to Mexico and brought his own test kits. Sure enough, they tested positive from the resort-supplied kits but when he took HIS test, it was negative. When they showed those results to the resort manager, they took another test... Came back negative. Okay, you’re free to go home.

 

Because the resorts have been empty for so long, they’re trying anything possible to make guests stay longer (and spend more money). Maybe not such a bad thing depending where you’re staying, but...

 

So, how was England & Italy?

We had a great trip to London, rode all the tube lines and did a lot in just 4 days, including watching Ronaldo play.  Then down to Rome/Naples/Amalfi/Pompeii where my son picked up covid and I recieved a free 10day stay at a Sheraton courtesy of the Italian government🙃

 

Thanks to everybody for your tips tricks and pointers! This is an amazing group!

That would be the Northern Line then 😄. Sorry, that was funny. Yes, take the Northern line to Edgeware, get off at Hendon. As the line splits to the north of Camden Town you need to be on the right train. Don’t just go North. The tube is easy to use and can get you anywhere. Get a day or week travel card. You will find it easy. Look at the maps.
