You’ll never get anywhere talking to them directly, no matter how high up the chain of command you go. Don’t underestimate the power of social media and/or conventional, mainstream media. Make as much noise as possible in a public forum. In some cases, local TV stations have reporters doing consumer matter stories which seem to be effective.

If all else fails, lawyer up.

Subject: [Ferrari] NFC - American Airlines contacts?

Good evening all,

A good friend has had a rather horrific experience in an American Airlines frequent flyer lounge.  They would very much like to be able to speak with someone very high up in the Am Airlines customer service or frequent flyer program.  They've already lodged a complaint and got a corporate-speak form letter in return.  They fly 10's of thousands of miles a year (maybe more - I know they were multi-million-mile flyers on Delta before a move forced a change of airlines), and even though new to the Am Airlines program, they deserve better treatment.

Does anyone know anyone?  If so, please feel free to forward my name/email and they can reach out if so inclined.

Thanks!

George P.
