In case I was unclear - issue is with the driver / passenger, not the car.

As Peter, said - I’ve driven 308, Boxer, Elise/Exire and many pre-1970 cars in the Florida heat.  Cars were fine - it was ME that was overheating.  Took the fun right out of it.

Even then, I have never overheated my 308. Ever. Back when I did a run down to Monterey in 2004, I was slugging it through rush hour traffic just outside of San Jose (temps close to 100*F), crawling between first and second gear. Sure, I was sweating my balls off, but the car kept it’s composure and handled it no problem. The car handled the heat better than me.
 
There’s close to 24 liters of coolant in the system. It would only overheat if the thermostat completely fails and stays shut permanently.

I concur. Murci was fine in Florida. 
 
NOT fun in hot weather:
 
Pretty much everything European pre-1970
Ferrari BB and 308
Lotus Elise / Exige

Why can't you drive them in hot weather?  I have had 2 Murcielago (03 coupe and 06 Roadster) and the a/c worked very well in both and they didn't overheat.
