Sadly hasn’t moved in more than a year. The PaPa can’t get in or drive it and will not let anyone else … so, it sits.

Scottie, looks awesome. Do you drive it much?

I am inspecting a twin to that one next week for a friend of mine.

1988.5. 5000qv. Red / Black. Owned since new.  Under 30K kilometers.  Not currently on the market - at any price - per the PaPa!

What year?

LOL - how long will THIS “young” kids Honda last?  Forever and a week.

1.5L turbo 180 hp.  Ultimate “slush box” CVT transmission.

“Fast” on the highway and even more invisible to the PoPo than my MINI was.

But that is not the IMPORTANT question / criteria.

Sure it is easy to drive - even quickly - and has all the modern driver aids: lane keeping, ACC, etc and it all works.  Almost nothing to keep and maintain - 4 tires mounted (michelins) for under $500.

BUT - no fun.  None, zip, zero.  A great tool and I really appreciated it when I was doing day trips to orlando, Daytona, and back in a day.  But aside from a decent stereo to keep me company, no love there.

LA —> San Fran would be a nice drive, but no thrill.

Now, in a 308 - it would be a journey!  Not to mention all the waves and thumbs up along the way.

Alas, stuck with the Honda for now.  However, the PaPa’s countach (which is sitting in the garage because he can no longer get in or out of it) will likely solve that problem - a soon as he is prepared to admit the situation and part with it.  Ferrari dreaming …

A long-gone era.  And now a kid’s Honda will smoke my 308 GTS.  However, if the opportunity arises, I invite them to a race from Los Angeles to San Francisco and ask them how long you think YOUR car will last.

No takers – thank goodness.
