What are you talking about? They’re available through Superformance UK. And who the hell is going to make an insurance claim on a light lens? Crack open the damn wallet and just pay for it. That’s what my buddy did with his 348. He broke his front fog light assembly and got the same thing from the dealer (“oh sorry, NLA”). I told him about Superformance, so he went ahead and ordered the lens and got another shop to install it. Done. If he waited for the dealer, the car would still be sitting in the shop 5 years later (and counting!).

I’m convinced we all really missed a trick in investing with old Ferrari stuff. The real money, the real unobtainium is 328/348/ 512tr fog lamps. Yes fog lamp assemblies. Should have bought up the stock in the mid 90s, cause now if you break one your car is totalled ( at least in Europe where we have car inspections). In 2007 it was impossible to get 328 fog lamps, now Brian tells me they are all pretty much nonexistent. Can you imagine the 8nsurance company has to total your car because of a piece of plastic? I should have bought them. Stored them and now would be naming my price….

Clyde’s right, the luggage is ugly, useless, and takes up a lot of space. Would anyone use it? No.

And only $7k MORE than I paid in 1998 for my 15 year old two owner, 22k mile, 400i 5 speed!  You can pack your clothes in the trunk or back seat of the 400i but you can’t drive your Schedoni luggage set!

My very first Ferrari was a crappy 2-valve 1981 308 GTSi that I bought in 1997 for $23K.

I sold it a year later for $27K and bought a 1983 308 GTS QV for $33K and I had it for five years.  That was a great car

and it's still in the area.

Just wanna say, that's only $1,500 less than I paid for my 12 year old Ferrari 308 in 1997, and I paid at a higher than average price due to it being precisely what I wanted (Euro, fairly low miles, red, GTS, etc).

The old school Schedoni stuff is much better made than the LdM era stuff.

$35,000 for a six piece set!

I have a smaller set -- 3 pieces, I think -- that I believe came with my 1992 512TR when I purchased it [used] several years ago. If this auction is at all indicative of what such luggage now sells for on Bring a Trailer, I suppose that when I list my car for sale it makes sense to list the Schedoni pieces separately.

(Now if I could only get off my rear and proceed with the 512TR listing.)
