Daytona seats always look dirty and ratty in Daytona’s, 246’s and 288 GTO’s. That’s because they’ve accumulated 40 and 50+ years of people sitting in them! It’ll be the same with these cars in that time frame (if they’re still on the road!). I like the diamond stitching and also the square stitching that’s being offered in today’s cars. Peter Sent from Mail for Windows From: Charles Perry Am I the only one that hates Daytona seats?
I get that it’s a throwback to a past glory, but to me they look ridiculously dated on a modern car. They also have to be a train wreck to care for – all those holes and pockets trapping dirt, conditioner and everything
else. I just don’t get the allure, but judging from their commonality with recent models I’m in the minority. I think these seats look great. They’re from the 488 Pista, but I think they’ve been available on the regular 488 and the F8. And they look like they belong in a modern car. -- charles From: Ferrari <ferrari-bounces+charles=carolinasound.com [at] ferrarilist.com>
