The sad thing is you will enable your Chevy's delusion by encouraging it to get a Ferrari body kit.  By doing so, you will only prolong the time it will take before it drives itself off a cliff.  Your Chevy just needs to accept and embrace that it is a Chevy and that is perfectly fine, no matter what Clyde says.

Cross posting for a friend…😜

I will give my DNA/DMV/VIN # example.  My Chevy seriously believes it's a Ferrari.  DMV won't register it as a Ferrari and the Ferrari Club won't except my membership application because of the Chevy VIN #.  The insurance company echoes the same.  They do have a realistic point, it has Chevy part numbers all throughout, a Chevy DNA/VIN # since Chevy made it.

So, my Chevy is being oppressed by the DMV, the Ferrari club, and the big corporate financial insurance industry.  It really does FEEL it's a Ferrari and to deny its perspective truth is AUTOphobic.

This is my example of dissassociation from reality.  No matter the Ferrari badges and wheels, it is not Italian in DNA or reality.

A person should be considered mental for continuing this dellusion and enabling the Chevy.  Wait a minute, would this make the DMV a harbinger of truth and reality?  What a mixed up world that we live in.
