Ferrari Mailing List: The Quick and the Dead

A while back we discussed some of the great Ferrari and Racing movies from yesteryear.  One that came up that I do not have in my collection was "The Formula One Drivers aka The Quick And The Dead".

Just looking for something to run in the background while I am cleaning out/up my metal chemical cabinets I see there is a new (used to be IMDB) channel on my RoKu called FreeVee.  It's tied to Amazon.

Anyway, about the 3rd row on the main screen, there it was "The Quick And The Dead".

Sadly it was a bit prophetic as the first 3 drivers interviewed were all dead within a few years.  Revson and Cervert later that year and Hailwood a few years later.   To his credit, Hailwood retired in one piece but was sadly killed by a truck driver making an illegal turn on a public road.  Sort of a grim reminder of losing T. E Lawrence.

The Jackie Stewart in car footage is amazing for its time... how does he drive so well with a big ass camera right in front of him?

I'm not getting much work done...
