Will be interesting to see the impacts of inflation on participation this year, regardless of location.  Just filling up my rental (POS Chevy) yesterday on a business trip was $52, which would have been $20 a year ago...

I agree on motor sports in Quebec. I’ve raced at Mt Tremblant and that is a fun track.

There may be better US options. It is complicated as you need the infrastructure, an exciting track and after hours entertainment.

I would jump for joy if F1 returned to The Glen but the Radisson in Corning isn’t going to fit all of the fans.

Ah, they can keep their race.  I just think there are better US options than what they have been coming up with.

Anthony, why do you keep trying to kill Montreal F1?

Montreal offers the F1 lifestyle and amazing racing.

We need to add The Glen!!!

Both together would be amazing.

Add one more at either Laguna Seca or Sears Point and we are done!

F1 is full of idiots.  Go where the fans are.  That isn't necessarily the same as where luxury cars as sold.  First, go where the Italians are.  NYC, Jersey, Philly, Boston, Rhode Island.  Yeah, there is already a race in Montreal but I would think Watkins or someplace even closer to NYC would far out draw Montreal.  Watkins is even close to Toronto and I bet there are more F1 fans in Toronto than Montreal.  20 years ago the infrastructure probably wouldn't have been good enough.  But the area has grown and, believe it or not, NASCAR has funded a big increase in hotels and restaurants in recent years.  Only slight upgrades would be required of the track.  And it is cheap to operate in the area.

Very few people in Indiana or Texas give a damn about F1.  There are several spots in CA that would work too.  Stick to the NE and CA for F1.
