How far down the lake did you go?  Did you get to Burlington by chance?  

Luckily your car didn't have one of those unreliable F1 transmissions.

I sent this out a few days ago, but it looks like it never made the List. Probably too many large format photos attached. In any case, I'm still having a blast on my summer road trip and it will come to a close tomorrow (heading back to Vancouver on Saturday, car gets picked up Friday).

I took a side trip down to Vermont to visit family who have a cottage on the shore of Lake Champlain. First time into the US since COVID. I think I enjoyed this the most! Last time I was there I was just a kid. Brought back a lot of fun memories for me and it looks like I made some fun memories for the younger generation! My cousin has been dying to get a ride in my car, so him, his son and his niece all jumped in.   My cousin turns to me and says "...come on Pete, let's see what this car can do...". Hehehe yeah, I punched it! The kids couldn't stop cheering! Probably the most fun they've had all summer!

It looks like I'll log over 1000mi by Friday. In three weeks. This ranks as one of my best vacations ever.
