We're probably going to have to defer to Anthony to get the appropriate gender and tense on the car pronouns.  Defer to Latin?

"They" cars are already temperamental so "we" don't want to use the wrong language around mer... ner?  thon!

My car is black, so I have to be careful there too.   I may need cLyDe to negotiate the proper place in the garage as well once "I" get the pronouns figured out.  All my modes of transportation are black.  I'm sure the social language police will be after me to relinquish title and deny "ownership".   Are my pink slips offensive in anyway?  They must be...

I have a great nephew going through this crisis now... and my idiot sister is indulging it. (Idiot being my preferred adjective for her.  Our mom was an English teacher so I'm going to stick with grammar the way I learned it.)   I've made it quite clear to him that he can pretend to be whatever he wishes... and I'm cool with it.  But, I will not participate in his delusion.   I've changed his diapers, I know what he is.
