We just played there at a huge metal festival and our show went well so they ask us to headline the pool party next year and I think we play at 11, if it was like this year it'll be 110° when we go on stage. I saw people in the pool that looked miserable. I am assuming starting everything late is a Las Vegas a new tradition! ha

John Sent from my iPhone It’s not unusual to see the hotels buy up all the big ticket good seats. They give them away to all their high rollers…. Win/win. Giving them away as promotional items, they get a big tax write off along with the inflated room rate they comp. Then on the back side they pick up big income on the tables and selling rooms at inflated rates to schmucks like you and me.
That’s why Joe public can never get ringside seats at a big fight. Because of my brother’s connections, I got a ringside seat at Leonard/Hearns. Not a single seat in the first 10 rows was sold, all comps. Face value, $20k. That was 1981. I took that stub back to school with me as no one my 1st Class year (senior) would have believed me otherwise. Most if not all of the corporations have bought the hotels and tickets out Rumor has it that the tickets are $25k now It’s going to be a sh*t show Just like Miami was without the cocaine! Can’t wait until some drunk throws a beer can on the track or better yet tries to get on the track!
