The guy I bought my Pantera from had a large collection of Brass Era cars and I think 3 of them were Steam.   He was getting burned all the time.  Finally one burned him bad enough he had a finger amputated.   He sold the steam cars.  He always joked it was either that or his wife was going to amputate another appendage.
