Clyde notes “I am too tall to fit in a modern day F-1 car!”

I recall, sometime ago, an old, way out of date, F-1 car was auctioned off for some reason –

Maybe a renovation fund for the houses at the Mustang Ranch in Nevada?

Anyway, the guy who won it? Well he was not only too tall but at 300 pounds, uh, too big.

Don’t recall the outcome.  But todays drivers allegedly can run under tables – standing up.

I bought a ticket

And

Lash would have to be the lead driver

I am too tall to fit in a modern day F-1 car!

Kent would be the team manager chief engineer,

The rest of the lurkers would be tool boys!

Erik would be the public manager TV guy

With Rick in charge of hotels ( former US Navy)

Guys, you’re all a bunch of Debbie Downers. I’ve got an idea...

Let’s start a Mega Millions pool here on the Ferrarilist. It’s pending as I type this but tonight’s draw was $1.35 Billion. If it’s not won tonight and we buy into the next jackpot, when we’d win (because if you don’t have a ticket, you don’t have a chance!), let’s buy OUR own team!

We’ll name it cLyDe-Ferrarilist-F1Racing. cLyDe and Lash will be our drivers (we’ll let them fight over who’s #1, hehehe). Erik will be chief engineer. Rick will be manager. Hans and Michael Savard will be the tire-change guys and Rob Garven will be head pit crew mechanic.

I mean, this is gotta be a championship winner right out of the gate! $200M buy-in? Pfff, chump change! Money buys championships. We’ll show them! Ha!

Liberty owns F1

It's run by Malone

Malone is an American

The other teams (read Mercedes) are all yapping about diluting the prize pool

Why doesn't Malone just add money to the prize pool and tell Toto to STFU!!

Yeah, it's $200M.  A lot of money to us, just another boat to them.

It's not like they don't have the funds.  MB and FWONA are both have about the same valuation.
