Weight is not an issue, just a few grams (ounces). But when i did the floor and firewall 2 years ago, I loved the ’new’ sound so much. The engine sounded much better, rounder because it didn’t have the outside noise from under the car. That’s why I decided to do the doors this year. I didn’t have the car last winter because my mechanic kept it all winter long because of the front cover bearing. That story was told was spring.

Finally did finish putting sound-shield on the right door. Next saturday left side. I just used velcro here and there to make it stick. This way it will be easy to undo next time.
