Here are 4 pictures (2 each door): #2 - Left door from above with the door closed. When it is unlocked, you can not completely see the end of the hook under the black rubber tube. #1- When it is locked, the system goes down to lock position and you can see the end of the hook, again under the black rubber tube. It seems to go down into a white box totally hidden behind the door frame from the top of the box.

The right side is totally different- you can clearly see a white box not totally hidden behind the door frame: #3 in unlocked position - the white arm (for lack of a better word) is upward. #4 in locked position the white arm is down BUT NOT TOTALLY DOWN. It’s easy to see it could go further down. There is some sort of a dent in the plastic box allowing more room for the arm to go down. It seems to me something is preventing that little arm to go further down, thus not locking my right door.
