Hi George
The 360 6 speed is a really great car. For me the F1 just takes too much of the experience away from driving the car. The F1 feels clunky, shifting has a hesitation to it, driving around town they are really jerky and if you try and drive them slow and smooth
it has to drag the clutch a bunch to make that happen. When the actuators go bad its almost as expensive to repair as it is to do a manual conversion using the parts we are helping develop. Driving them aggressively its ok shifting but the majority of the
time on the street I haven't enjoyed the experience, a manual is definitely the way to go. If the best car you can find is an F1 then buy it and enjoy it until you have an issue either mechanically or emotionally with the F1 parts then convert it to a manual.
We are actually in process of the first conversion car and everything is coming together rather nicely right now. My partner on the project is a gun manufacture so the tolerances and parts are coming out great, we are helping make some improvements as we go
along as well, such as pedal placement, faster/smoother shifting, better/stronger material choices etc. He has bought 2 cars to convert then sell and one of them is an 04 that is Red/tan with daytona seats as well. We may even consider trading your 308 in
on it as well. Let us know
Thanks Michael

360 Spider. I would prefer the 6-speed (Red/Tan) to the F1 but they are at least 30% more. I have never owned an automatic transmission sports car of any kind (MG, TR, Jag, Lotus, Ferrari...). Is the 6-speed worth the extra price? What do you think?
