When I worked at Ferrari Los Gatos/Bentley Silicone Valley I was voluntold to put the temporary top on the first Barchetta we got.
Our GM wanted the customer to see it.
Once the GM came in to the service department he said that the customer was on the way and to remove the top ASAP.
The rear of top very closely the rear of the top on the Monkeemobile.

Superamerica was better than Barchetta. At least it has a useable roof - when it works.
Putting the temp top on the Barchetta was a recipe for using the supports to ruin your paint
