A good friend of mine in the UK, bought a 360 spider from Rod Stewart back in 2003/2004 he still has it. He wanted to buy it because he said he knew Penny Lancaster had sat in the passenger seat! True story…. Nice car too, Red and Tan with sport seats. Can’t remember the transmission type….

Hahahahaha

This reminds me of the story of a local (Vancouver, BC) 308 GTBi.

A Euro market car that was purchased by Billy Joel for then-wife Christie Brinkley. She had the car imported into the US and kept it for a number of years. She sold it, it went to one or two owners and then was purchased by the gentleman who owns it today. He's quite proud of the celebrity ownership history, he mentions it whenever he shows the car.

So at one of the shows, an older fellow comes up, listens to the story and with a laugh, he asks this owner if he can sniff the seat... The owner looks at him and without missing a beat says: "well, the last time Christie sat in this car was more than 20 years ago, so you won't be smelling her ass, you'll be smelling mine".

The look of the guy's face was priceless.

Probably the closest I’ll ever get to Perdita Weeks is buying the chair she sat in:
