That was a good job tracking it down to a place you could see the fault. Good thing it wasn’t completely hidden or that fault would have been a nightmare. Did you know it was the front? Was it just luck you saw the damaged wire?

So my 2003 575 has a skyhook fault

I think I found the issue

The front sensor wire lead was routed by the frame and wore through  causing the issue

I did a splice which was a bitch and repaired the lead to the sensor

Luckily I am a slot car guy and had all the wires and soldering stuff to do this repair

So now I have to clear the fault codes with a Ferrari scanner

Going to do this next week

If you own a 550/575 the next time you do an oil change have the tech check the front lead wires to the this sensor

I can bet you its routed the same way and you will eventually have this issue
