Apparently, the buyer...
To be honest, I don't know what the obsession is with calling out BaT, or other online sales of cars. If anything should be called out as over-priced, complain about how milk and orange juice is over $5 a jug (more like $8 up here in the Great White North).
This is only the start. I expect older cars like these will either continue to hold, if not increase steadily in "value".
Look at it this way, think of any modern Ford, Chevy, or the stalwarts like Honda and Toyota and tell me what doesn't have an open TSB or recall of something or another, related to all of this stupid technology they say we want/need?
The Cybertruck are now starting to pile up in Tesla lots. Ford is currently one of the worst in the industry for recalls. Dodge hasn't built a reliable thing since 1948. You can pick up a C8 Vette all day long at "manager special" pricing. The list goes on.
Pretty soon, people are going to catch on that all of these new cars are crap and stuff like the NSX are actually "worth" getting and keeping. They are not perfect but are damn near it. When it came out, it put everyone in their place and I'd say that's a good
thing (because everyone upped their game after that). New cars nowadays, no matter which ones, won't last more than 10 years. It doesn't matter if it's a Toyota or a Bugatti, they'll all end up as bricks.
In the end, it all comes down to the trillions and trillions of dollars/euro/yuan/yen/ruble that have been printed over the last couple of decades to win votes and prop up unsustainable societies. Blame whatever party, they're all guilty and they all pull the
same stupid shit. This is why orange juice is $5/jug, NSX's sell for $200K+ and a double-wide in Malibu lists for $2.5Mil.
If you have a house, food in the fridge and SOME money in the bank, you are better off than 7 billion other people.
Happy 2025 everyone. It's gonna be a Duesey...
Peter

The seller made a bad investment by not enjoying their car. But this argument makes the buyer look like a genius. If they invested $100k in 2004, they bought this car and had $200k left over.
