Clyde - I believe the folks who can afford to throw 1.6-1.7MM at a car are totally unconcerned about stock market performance.  That 1.6MM is just pocket fluff (as said in the Hitchhiker's Guide world) to them, and their $$$$ grows for them in other ways.

I met a guy in NoVA w/ an Enzo - 1-2MM at that time.  I thought then, and still maintain, if someone can throw a million bucks AT A CAR (!!!!!), what must their total net worth be??  The only way I could do that would be if I also lived in it (and probably not even then)!  But as Allie Ash (former team boss and owner at FoW) used to say, "You can live in your car but you can't drive your house."  ;-)

But then, I'm a guy who's never bought a car even approaching 6 figures, never mind 7, so what do I know....

So let me see if I have this right
You have well over 7 figures to throw at a car ?
And you think it?s a sound investment instead of the current stock market returns
It?s official
I am scared!
