I can't tell you how good it is to read the posts and remember the
friendships and good times. Joe Martz. I still have the Ferrari book you gave
me at
Hallett 2000. Quite proud of it. My daughters still talk of you giving them a
ride in the Diablo. My little girls are now 25 & 21, and the boys are 33 & 31,
have 2 grandchildren and one on the way.
Saw Charles Perry and Dave Handa on one of my motorcycle rides and did some
things with LashDeep when visiting DC area. Spent 8 years flying to DC for
the Reserves in DC/Pentagon arena. When I joined the list I was a Commander
and
after not being selected for Admiral, I retired and will get my first check
this month, turn the BIG 60!! Damn where does the time go? LS did you ever
put windshield wipers on you car? Dave, I became a FFL but can hardly carry
anymore because of all the searches everywhere.
I suggest a LIST MEETING. The best place I know to meet is at a race track,
uh where else should Ferrari's go!!! I suggest we rent little Talladega. I'm
sure you've seen the FCA notices from Mike Charness about his events. We rent
the track twice a year, so let's do it! I volunteer Mike with a very little
of my help.. Seriously, it would be great and it is really a great little
track and centrally USA located. Easy driving distance from Atlanta so those
not bring cars you can fly into Atlanta and after the track day we can party
there also. We normally do a Friday night dinner in Anniston, AL, great hotel
The Victoria. And drive to the track Saturday morning. Run the track one way
in the morning the other way in the afternoon, rounds the tires perfectly, and
then head for Hot 'Lanta.
WHAT SAY YE GROUP? YE or NEY?

I'm up for that. Any excuse to get on a track...
