Hi Guys, Rumours flying around here that Marenello UK has sold the entire stock of classic Ferrari parts to a US buyer, price rumoured to be about 400,000 pounds which is a heck of a bargin. Also rumour is they are staying in England and not being shipped to the USA. (Thank goodness for me). Parts from Ferrari UK are WAAYYY cheaper than the ripoffs you USA based guys have to pay..... I have been to the archives 5 times and bought some of the last 400i parts they had when doing up my 400i over the past 2 years however they have an incredible amount of stuff and more importantly dont even know what they have! Back when Marenello UK was Ferrari UK and owned by a UK PLC that owned a bunch of dealers they never wanted to invest in actually paying somebody to properly catalog what they have and if there computer doesnt say they have it they assume they dont (even though often it is on the shelf!) Back when Ferrari spa sold the entire stock of parts it was shipped over here to the UK in a large number of HGVs and a lot of stuff was just put on the shelf to be logged in the computer later...and it never was...When I was down there last year there were still unopened packing crates from 10 years ago sitting in the warehouse... Anyway, no real point. Just filling you guys in on the news/rumours....if I hear more I will share. Anybody else hear anything about this??
