Fuel is still cheap in the USA compared to many other countries. Prices
here
in Sydney currently approx. $1.30 Aussie dollars (AUD) per litre.
x .75 = USD
x 3.8 = US gallons
= $3.71USD per US gallon.
 
Went up to nearly $1.50 AUD per litre a while back which is about $4.28
per
US gallon. Was recently in the UK and the prices were way higher than
that.
 
And now, an attempt at haiku:
 
Gas guzzlers guzzle
Petrol prices are so high
Need new power source
