And I'm not just talking about the M-cars, or the AMGs, but everything from RS6s to XKRs to, oh, Dodge Chargers and heck even some cheap Japanese sedans. Watch out for that Dodge Magnum STATION WAGON! Heck, I bought a Nissan Armada last year to tow my sh!t around. This is a massive, gigantic SUV that tows 9000 lbs. and seats 8 people. And it's FASTER than the original Ferrari 308: 2006 Nissan Armada: 0-60 in 7.0 sec, 1/4-mile: 15.5 sec 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB: 0-60 in 8.2 sec, 1/4 mile: 17.0 sec Now, of course, there are faster 308s out there, but if they are faster than the Armada, it's only be a split second. And one can claim that the Ferrari would be faster around a track, but if you put them on equal tire compounds, I don't know for sure. :-) And, of course, that's 30 years of technological advancement, but the point here is that a FRIGGIN' GIANT SUV designed to haul 8 people and tow a large trailer or go off roading is ABOUT AS FAST as one of the most appealing, exotic 2-seat sports cars of all time. That's technology for you.
