This morning, after all of the traffic on the Ferrari List regarding  
large sedans, I eased the Elise out of the garage, warmed-up the  
engine and went for a drive.  As I was merging onto the freeway (my  
speed was approximately 50mph, due to very slow existing traffic), I  
was struck in the middle of my forehead by a rock (I recovered the  
rock, since it fell to earth INSIDE the Elise) about the size of a  
piece of gravel.  It # [at] $%##! hurt.  In fact, my forehead still hurts  
an hour later !

OK. OK.  Is it legal, in the State of California, to wear a full-face  
helmet in a car?  I guess I am about to find out.

Helmets.  Don't leave home without one.
