Hey Pat: My daughter lives in Huntington Beach and there is a neat car show 
every Saturday morning at a doughnut shop parking lot at the corner of Warner 
and Adams, a few blocks inland from PCH. It starts at dawn and runs til about 
10 am. A few Ferraris show up with the rest street rods, antiques, woodys, etc. 
I saw the only tricked out flat-head Ford with a Rajo (Two plugs per cylinder) 
heads there. Everybody is real friendly there and will talk your head off. If 
y'all go, try the Tommy Burgers a few blocks farther. A nice greasy double 
meat, double cheese, double chili cheeseburger is a beautiful way to start the 
weekend! washed down with a cold 6'er, of course.

Hey, this is a car list, how about something to do with cars?

Of course there is Malibu Grand Prix... near City of Industry.  Or, look for
a local Solo II (autocross) event.  Nothing wrong with running as "Team
Avis".  Ahem...

Sorry for the OT post.  Looking for some suggestions as to what to do in Los
Angeles next week.  Taking the family out to Redondo beach to visit my
sister, arriving Wed the 8th, departing the morning of the 13th.  Not
necessarily car-related, but, hey, I can hope, right?!  My wife and I will
have our 3 yr old and 17 month old daughters, and will also have my
similarly-aged nephews, so kid-friendly suggestions especially appreciated.
Good places to eat, hang out, interesting stuff to check-out, whatever.
