I had a couple of US Marksman Maltese Cross rifle badges from the army - got
them when I was in supply. (That and the 10¢ cans of grapefruit.) Sterling
silver those badges were. Double sided taped it to the dash board of the old
VW, the one we drag raced Graham Hill in. Had that and a cheap aluminum cast
Nazi badge with a child on it - think it was a mothers badge for having her
10th blond blue eyed baby at the deposit of Heinrich Himmler's finest.

Hey Doug: Here in Arkansas a person can't get new tags for his/her car or
pickup until he has proof from the state dept. of finance that he is current in
ALL his taxes. Therefore stolen license plates are in the top 5 items stolen
here. BTW: When I had my military Kubelwagen, I got an old oval German military
plate from eBay. It went well with the 12th W-SS Panzer Division 'Hitlerjugend'
camo paint on it. Und danke fuer ihr interesse.

  Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba

Francis - Burt spent some time on lay over in Heathrow and being a car-guy
with time to kill purchased a newspaper sorta thing with tons of cars for
sale and what not. Also for sale, in numerous ads, were license plates (?).
Tons of them. Rows and rows. What is the deal with that? or didn't I read
far enough in the last post?
Thanks
DOUG
