Hey Phil: My two greatest memories of Ferrari/ F1 racing were having a Belgian 
beer at the outdoor cafe at La Source hairpin and watching Jean Alesi and 
Gerhart Burger, both driving Ferraris start from the front row at Spa in 1995. 
The other was being able to stand at the exact spot on the start/finish line 
that Pete Arrons (James Garner) did in the movie, Grand Prix at Monza after the 
race in 1998. For me, life can't get any better than that. Other than driving 
MY OWN Fazzaz, those stand out.

After reading both Jasons Post and F Willie "Bubbas" posts, I realized that 
some 
of what I have been missing in the last couple of years is that good feeling of 
the old Ferrai lore.

If when any of you have a moment to post some of your first Ferrari stories or 
most exciting Ferrari moments, you would do that, I for one would enjoy reading 
them, remembering is good.

I remember Gordon Tatum drag racing down the straight at Marlboro determined to 
be first out of the turn, un fortunately he forgot that physics still rules the 
world and went straight off. God what a sound he must have hit 8500 on at least 
2 shifts.

Maybe even post the word lore in the heading so those of you who don't have 
time 
can use the delete button. I say, make time, you might learn something.
