They only started naming them that way (Series first, then number) in MY
1994. But you're right, Dave.  My Merc is great, I just need a stick shift
and some "excitement".  Maybe, as Rick suggested, I need to go back to a E30
or maybe the 2.3-16 Mercedes 190.  Can you say "valve adjustment"?
