Willi, right now I'm trying to save up enough for a "fun" car. Looking back on it, I probably never shoulda sold that nice '94 Miata R that I had. But then again, lots of people just "settle" and I'm sure glad I've experienced even a small part of Ferrari ownership/proper care and feeding. Think it makes me a more developed person. Ya think? <big grin> As far as a fun car, maybe that E30 M3 that Jeff was kind enough to let me drive 'lo these coupla Saturdays ago or maybe Richard's Pininfarina 2000 Spyder or his 944S2. Maybe the younger grandson and I can take a trip to Enid this Saturday. Just gotta try to keep the wife from spending everything I manage to bring home. Time to join the credit union. As for the discussions, well, I'm too darned busy to understand all of them, let alone take part. I don't see how people have all that time at work (formalized work environment, not a job at home where no one really is looking over your shoulder or quite possibly your emails) to read and respond to the list. When I was retired, like you, yeah, that's a piece of cake. I think maybe some people should spend more time working than sermonizing. My oldest grandson was talking with me about NASA's planned moon mission and the long term objectives. He opined that people would have to leave earth at some point, but that providing a proper and safe environment off our mother planet could fairly easily be done. I agreed, and said that the hardest part of a project like that would be getting people to get along with each other and not fight each other for (what usually turns out to be, in the long run) idealistic and imaginary perceptions and beliefs. Let's just all agree to disagree, and get on with the important things of life. Like cars and family and etc. Best regards to all Tom Reynolds Tulsa, Oklahoma ----- Original Message ----- From: <red5hilser [at] aol.com> To: "Tom Reynolds" <kjtar [at] cox.net> Cc: "The FerrariList" <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> Sent: Tuesday, December 05, 2006 11:16 PM Subject: [Ferrari] Fwd: OT! Besides shooting at some of the stray hillbillies that come into my 5 acres of 'hemp' that I grow for 'medicial reasons', and pissing off List members, what else is there to do? BTW: I've got a great recipe for baked road-kill pie I can send to y'all. You'll be in our shoes soon enough, right Tom? <G> > > Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba > > > -----Original Message----- > From: BrianBuxton [at] BuxtonMotorsports.com > To: red5hilser [at] aol.com > Cc: ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com > Sent: Tue, 5 Dec 2006 6:56 PM > Subject: Re: [Ferrari] OT!
