Ferrari Mailing List: gas filter Fram G-3744 for Ferrari ???

For some reason, I bought 2 FRAM G-3744 gas filters for my 1981 308GTSi.
My mechanic told me they were not for my car. He  put Bosch 71051 (same
price) instead. Can anybody tell me what those  FRAM filters are good
for ? Are they good for any Ferraris ? Most of all, is anybody on the
list interested for them ($50.00 canadian and free shipping) ?  Thank
