I have a friend near me who has a not pristine but not too shabby Stag, manual - with also a hardtop - up for sale for 3.5K pounds. Running fine but needs a bit of cosmetic stuff. I've driven it and it's fine. I think your prices are a bit optimistic mate.

Stag owner's entry on Wikipedia, the Stag is now a valued collectible, so
who knows? Buy it now! :-)

(whose wife owned not one, but TWO TR7s, the first of which broke down on
the highway about 1 mile into her inaugural drive, then broken down on the
Mass Pike about 10 miles into her second drive, then overheated and warped
the head on our four drive, causing us to buy the 2nd TR7 for a parts car,
which, of course, resulted in us selling both for less than the parts car
cost us some time thereafter. Hey, upon reflection, something that cost
more per mile driven than our Ferraris! Heck, more than someone who bought
a 456M GTA!)

Guys,
I have found myself with a 1977 Triumph Stag. Red/Black and in great
condition. With hardtop and softtop. Original V8 and all. Anybody know
anybody who wants one? I heard through the Ferrari UK grapevine that there
was great demand for these in the states though whether it can be imported
to the USA as easily as I can import into the UK I do not know.
Anybody interested?

oh and a 1977 Stag
