Bravo! I've used Mother's wheel polish to restore cloudy plastic headlights. It 
works decently with a buffing attachment on a drill.

Wet sanding the headlight surface with ultrafine sandpaper beforehand may help 
also...never tried it though.

Haven't used that product but it reminded me of a trick I once used on the
rear window of my MGB's soft-top when it went all yellow and opaque as they
do with time.  It was Brasso!  Worked a treat.  I was sceptical but I
thought at the time - can't see through the window anyway so what have I got
to lose!
