You don’t need to remove the intake manifold. The injectors just pull out. If you do decide to remove the intake manifold be very careful of the small spacers that go with this assembly. If one of them fall in the engine intake, well lets just say that you will be going to church! Be careful of the fuel lines they are fragile as well. -----Original Message----- From: Rui Gigante [mailto:rui.gigante [at] gmail.com] Sent: Friday, December 29, 2006 6:18 AM To: clyde Cc: The FerrariList Subject: [Ferrari] Changing fuel injectors Hi listers, I plan on changing the fuel injectors soon. I already have them, together with new o-rings. While doing it, I plan on replacing all rubber hoses with new ones and cleaning the engine. My question is: what's the best way to do it? I have already decided to take the engine hood off so I have easier access to the front bank. Should I also remove the intake manifold? Has anyone done it before and can advise on do's/don'ts ? Thanks !
