You don’t need to remove the intake manifold. 
The injectors just pull out.
If you do decide to remove the intake manifold be very careful of the small
spacers that go with this assembly. 
If one of them fall in the engine intake, well lets just say that you will
be going to church!
Be careful of the fuel lines they are fragile as well.

Hi listers,

I plan on changing the fuel injectors soon. I already have them, together
with new o-rings. While doing it, I plan on replacing all rubber hoses with
new ones and cleaning the engine.
My question is: what's the best way to do it? I have already decided to take
the engine hood off so I have easier access to the front bank. Should I also
remove the intake manifold?
Has anyone done it before and can advise on do's/don'ts ?
