A friend in the local FCA (Paul) bought a black F430B with a 6 speed manual, so it is possible to order one that way. I have no idea if there is a strict allocation to the dealers of how many 6 speed manuals can be ordered though. I do recall one of the introductory videos on the F430, that a test driver claimed only 10 to 20% of F430's would be manual transmission. Whether that is by demand or decree I have no idea. Only about 10% of E39 5 series sedans delivered in NAm spec were manual transmission cars, which got me to thinking...prior to the F355 100% of Ferrari models aside from the 400 series GM Autos were manual cars. What is the current percentage? Is the 430 even available with a manual transmission, I know the 360 was. What about the 12 cylinder cars, or are they all paddleboats now? ken _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/dave%40davehanda.com Sponsored by BidNip.com eBay Auction Sniper
