Hi Rui, Rick, and other Ferrari Listers,

I just got back from a 4 continent trip with the family, in which we took a
detour from London to Portugal on the encouragement of fellow FerrariListers
Rui (who lives there) and Rick (who's been there also). Well, what can I
say? Our Porto sojourn was wonderful - a very pretty and interesting city
and we even lucked into a string of fine, sunny days. But it was meeting Rui
and the Gigante family and having the time our families shared that made
Porto special - I've already said it privately to Rui but what a charming,
gracious, hospitable family! Now we are friends on opposite sides of the
globe, initially linked by our Ferraris (thanks to the FerrariList), but now
just friends also.

Rui, your attention to fine detail on your cars is truly inspiring. In this
light, I think you should share the web link for your MGA restoration with
the group (Rui has the most brilliantly restored MG I've ever seen). The
website shows clearly, step-by-step, what really can be done with a vehicle.
What's more, your 328GTS already seems like a nice example, but when you are
finished with it, I have no doubt it will be one of the most pristine
examples on the planet.

I also found the car museum in Gaia quite overwhelming - but, what, only 3
Mercedes Gullwings? Rick, weren't there 5 when you were there? Anyway, it
was all absolutely terrific.

So, thanks again and keep up the great work with your cars.

Cheers,
Grahame & family
