I address this question to the entire list, and Jenkins in particular since
he owns a majority of the V8 lineup...

How have you found your tastes change over the years with the particular F
cars that you have owned or actively followed as an enthusiast?

For example, back in '98 if you were to ask me my favorite V8s I would have
said.....308, 328, 355....I shared critical disdain for the 348. My favorite
12s were Testarossa and 512M. The 512 TR looked a little funny to me back
then compared to the other TRs...

Now if I had to pick V8 and Flat-12 (modern) it'd most likely be 348 and 512
TR, and not just for the driving experiences, but for looks too, lol.
Granted it could be because I've driven them....but over the years you begin
to learn the ins and outs of these cars and there are certain subtleties in
certain models that appeal to us more than others.

The 355 has a wonderful, timeless look, and perhaps the best sounding n/a V8
from Maranello.....but is it as "soft" as some people say it is? (the
optimist in me knows somewhere out there are a few examples with the power
steering delete ;-)

This thread has the potential to cause a riot and useless garbage if posted
on the typical boards...but I know I can expect QUALITY from "THE LIST".
