Thanks Charles - Ayep, heard of Never Dull, just never tried it. Can't wait to get some, try it, and add it to my wall of cleaners - my car cleaner wall is to my garage as a fly fisherman's collection of fly's are to his creel. Heh heh

I'm sure most of you have heard of it already and a lot of you probably
already have it in the house, but I am so happy with this product that I
had to recommend it again.

It's a metal polish called Nevr Dull. It's kind of a cotton-ish wadding
soaked in some wonderous chemical. It's available at any hardware store
or Lowes/Home Depot kind of place. Very popular at home for cleaning
silverware, etc. I've had it in the garage for a long time because it
does a great job polishing the aluminum rims of my TR wheels. I've also
used it on my stainless exhausts and tail pipes in the past.

I was detailing the Diablo this weekend and was really upset when I
finished the wheels (which are chromed). After spending more than an
hour and a lot of elbow grease with Mother's Chrome Polish (which had
come highly recommended) they still looked hazy and pitted. I was
getting irritated with myself because I was afraid I had left corrosive
brake dust on them too long and would have to have them re-chromed. Then
I noticed the Nevr Dull mentioned being OK for chrome, so I tried it.
Amazing!! It took almost no effort, and while rubbing it on the wheel I
could actually feel the texture of the wheel change under the wadding
(like the plastic glove thing does with clay bars). A little more wiping
and the chrome was literally blinding in the sun. Completely mirror
clean - no haze, no spots or pitting. Great stuff, and it didn't leave
wax-like residue in the holes where the smaller bolts are like the
Mother's did.

I also have to recommend the simple vacuum cleaner for cleaning
convertible tops. Mine was covered in pollen and stuff and I was trying
to figure out how to clean it. Since I already had the vacuum out to do
the carpets, I tried the upholstery tool and it did a great job - even
pulled the dust I didn't know about out, leaving it nice and black. Took
two minutes. Sweet!

Happy motoring!
