Well, I did search, and couldn't find an answer I was looking for, Dennis.
I didn't want to download another program, I simply wanted to know if what I
wanted to do could be done with what I had; Irfanview, Adobe Photoshop 5.5,
using Windows 98.  What I finally did was to just remake the file, inserting
the new improved shot (and deleting one) and just saving it with the same
name (although I didn't have to, I could have just deleted the old file) and
now I'm all set.
Before I ask, I search.  Sorry for any ripples, but with all the other NFC
on the list, at least I labeled it correctly.
