Well, okay, okay, maybe I over reacted, sorry guys.  But, I do remember in
my post that I made a point of stipulating that I had Irfanview and Adobe
Photoshop on Windows 98, and I was interested in seeing if anyone knew how
to replace component parts of a screen saver file given those parameters.  I
suppose I could go download another program, but what I already did was just
to remake the file, uploading the revised image as I did so.

A good person? I thought I was doing you a favor by giving you the proper
keywords on which to search. Believe me, had I sat down and typed out HOW to
do what you're looking to do, I couldn't have done it any better than "here
- download this free program which will do it for you." Which is exactly
what the Google results show.

Yeah, I thought so.  Thanks Steve.  If you want to be a good person, maybe
you should try helping out sometime instead of sending this crap to people.
But then again, I guess that's your privilege.  So, DO you know how to do it
(what I originally asked) or not? I did a Google search, (otherwise I
wouldn't have asked the list for assistance.)  What is it with you guys?  No
F1 race this weekend?  Did you hear in '08 traction control will be banned,
btw?  So, not just us will be spinnin' our wheels.

I have 15 .jpg images made up into a screensaver file.  How do I open the
screensaver file to substitute one .jpg file (unretouched) for the new,
improved (retouched) version?  I have Adobe Photoshop and Irfanview,
Windows98.  I can find the screensaver (.scr) file (Windows/System) but I
don't know how to make the individual .jpg images within it accessible so
that
I can replace one with the other.
?
