After seeing there is a 1/3 scale F1 car at the Park Ave. showroom in the same link Steve Jenkins sent with the sweet picture of his F40, I decided to take my at least once weekly stroll past the showroom at lunchtime. The F1 car was not there, but the new Maserati GT is, along with a 1956 A6GCs. They are closed to the public today for a press intro to the Maserati GT, but it is sitting there in all its glory in gorgeous Blu Nettuno. If you like this in the pictures, it is like most late Ferrari's, in that pictures do it no justice. In the metal, this car is nothing short of stunning! It seems to be the type of design that will get attention, but not scream like an F430 or Lambo. All of the cues that hint of other makes in the photos dissapear, as it truly looks unique in person, and the Aston like lines do not really appear (could be the color). Proportions are about perfect, and there is really not a bad line on the car, and the front grill is perfect. Now, where to come up with a deposit... Carl
