FYI - For those interested in producing the maximum power from your engine, 
here's anoth reason for using synthetic oils.

Spike TV has a program called Horsepower which deals mostly with muscle 
cars - on todays show they did a comparision of horsepower generated when 
using Dino oil and Synthetic oil.

They used Royal Purple oil.

The  baseline (Camaro woth LT1 V8) was 302.8 hp using 10W30 Dino
with Royal Purple 10W30 oil,  the engine produced - 310.8 hp

both results were tested on a dyno.
