Subject: [Ferrari] [NFC] Euro trip suggestions needed

I'm in the early planning stage for a 3 week trip to
Germany/Italy/France in May 2008. My rough and very fluid plan is
to take European delivery of a new S8 in Munich (Ingolstadt) and drive
south through Austria to northern Italy and then west to France and
maybe end in Paris. I'd like to spend about about 2 weeks, maybe a week
in Italy and another in a French wine area, in rented country-side
houses/villas whose locations would permit day trips to points of
interest. The other week would be spent traveling and at the ending city.

I'd appreciate suggestions from my fellow Ferrari List members. Note
that my wife and I enjoyed 2 weeks in Tuscany last year and split it
between a week in a Chianti villa, few days in Viareggio, and ended in
Florence. Also, we may have another couple with us, and that I would be
the only car enthusiast in the group.

tia and regards from wintry Boston,

~Marty
