Have fun Marty! We have one bottle left, saved to celebrate the day we
get tickets to go back. Nothing on this side of the pond is the
same. Especially if you like driving. Enjoy driving your new S8. FAST.
I've never planned a vacation. In fact we just got back today from a spur of the moment 7 day trip booked 8 days ago. And last in Europe we only knew we landed in Frankfurt and left from Paris 5 weeks later. Germany, Spain, Portugal, France - we just drove, stopped, ate, slept. We stayed some places 2-3 nights if they were really nice. It maybe a nice idea for you to 'wing it' and relax, doing whatever whenever? I find normal life so organized that on vacations I leave my watch at home. After a few days or weeks, depending on how long the trip is, I start to ask people the date to make sure we make it back. My goal is to one day be on such a trip and spontaneously retire, and just keep going until.
Germany - beer - don't go there first you may be stuck an extra week. Our sampling started at 7:00am at the train station and didn't stop until we left the country.
France - cheese and pastries - wait for a rainy day and go to the shops that have long lines outside
