Actually, I've always been a big Kimi fan. Just *love* those interviews.
However, I've been disappointed by the Kimi performance. Seems he lacks motivation. Hmmm... Maybe is spending too much time researching that new condo in the Swiss Alps? Whatever....
Tires (tyres??)? I dunno. I still think it is a motivation thing. I've seen this a million times over in other areas..... Guy gets big contract, loses interest. Golf, hedge funds, basketball. F1?? Whatever his specialty is, he loses interest.
Hans. (or as Dennis would say, "I could be totally wrong".

I saw an interesting observation on http://www.f1headlines.com/ today (the latest cool little online tool from S2 Media... wanna guess what the S2 stands for?).
"Is it more than just a coincidence that Lewis and Felipe, who seem to be thriving just now, are both experienced drivers on Bridgestone tyres while Fernando and Kimi are ex-Michelin men and they are still trying to adapt to the new Bridgestone regime?
Another interesting parallel is that both Lewis and Felipe could be said to be already "embedded" in their respective teams - having been associated with them for some time - whereas Fernando and Kimi are new boys at McLaren and Ferrari respectively."
I realized point #2 above, but never considered the tire issue. Interesting!
