FYI - While driving through our neighborhood yesterday, I found another type of radar today which was undetected by my V1 - FMCW "FMCW detectors, sometimes referred to as true-presence microwave detectors, transmit continuous frequency-modulated waves at the detection zone. Frequency varies over time. Detectors measure the range from the detector to the vehicle to determine vehicle presence. To obtain speed, the distance between two range bins is divided by the time that the detected vehicle travels that distance (4-1)." The "Your speed is" sign lit up on the trailer, but the V1 sat silent. I don't know if FMCW is being deployed in hand held units, but I can see this as a future threat to our "spirited drives" !
