Hi Britt

He ended up as MD of the UK importer and after various take-overs and Ferrari deciding to set up their own Ferrari GB company 18 months ago he was retained as a consultant. Tony Willis is a great guy and is totally hooked in to the Ferrari heritage, which is not always the case with Ferrari these days. I can't tell you how pleased I am to have been able to put you in contact with him, and I'm sure you realise from his speed of response to you that he is genuinely interested in helping you with the heritage of your car.

I am thrilled just to have played a small part in this. Another article for the FOC Ferrari magazine looming I feel :-)

best

Francis

Thanks to Francis Newman (a UK Lister) I have been in touch with the guy who
sold my 400i originally in January 1980 to its first owner. You may remember
my post from two weeks ago where the son of the original owner got in touch
with information on the car. It turns out the sales guy STILL works for Ferrari
GB and he is going to try to locate the paperwork on the car from the original
sale.

How cool is that?
