Sourcing a used one isn't looking very good.

A heat gun probably can't make things much worse.

I just did a repair on an MGB steering column bezel that was badly warped.
The answer was the heat gun. 
Perhaps you could remove the dash and flip it over, use the heat gun to
soften the underlying substrate and reshape it.  Sounds like a solution you
might try
- especially AFTER you have sourced a used dash!
